RECO launches multiple education providers for real estate education in Ontario

Toronto, ON – July 3, 2025

The Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO) has launched a new multi-provider model for real estate registration education, marking a significant milestone in its multi-year transformation of real estate education in the province.

As of July 2025, four RECO-approved education institutions—Algonquin College, Career College Group, Fleming College, and Humber Polytechnic—are offering real estate education programs. The approach introduces more choice and flexibility for learners while maintaining consistent, high-quality standards across all providers through RECO’s robust and interactive compliance-based curriculum and a new centralized exam provider, Meazure Learning.

“We’re pleased to welcome our new education providers as part of this important step forward for learners in Ontario,” said Joseph Richer, Registrar of the Real Estate Council of Ontario. “Expanding access to real estate education in Ontario helps ensure that aspiring salespersons and brokers have choice as they prepare to meet the demands of a regulated profession and deliver high standards of service to the public.”

This initiative builds on the vision laid out in RECO’s 2014 white paper and reflects years of consultation, collaboration, and system development aimed at modernizing and enhancing real estate education in Ontario.
