“Be Home Smart” campaign empowered consumers in an uncertain market

In an uncertain real estate market, consumers are eager for information on how to protect themselves when they buy or sell.

RECO’s consumer campaign reached consumers at events, via ads, and through mainstream and traditional media. Our messages focused on:

    • empowering buyers and sellers by educating them about their rights and responsibilities;
    • highlighting the benefits of working with a registered real estate professional; and
    • raising awareness about RECO’s regulatory role and how we serve the public interest.

During the campaign we had over 70,000 face-to-face interactions with consumers, and over 40,000 clicks on our online ads. In total, consumers saw or heard our ads over 50 million times.
