Toronto, ON – June 13, 2025
As part of its ongoing efforts to support registrants in complying with the Trust in Real Estate Services Act, 2002 (TRESA), the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO) is pleased to share four videos that spotlight topics registrants indicated in a survey that they would like more information about:
In the videos, RECO Registrar Joseph Richer draws upon the unique perspectives of the regulator (RECO), agents, brokers of record, and a real estate lawyer on how they address these topics in their day-to-day activities.
An additional video shares perspectives on the day-to-day use of the RECO Information Guide:
The Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO) is a not-for-profit organization that regulates real estate agents and brokerages across the province. Its mission is to protect consumers by ensuring that real estate agents, brokers, and brokerages understand and comply with the law.
RECO establishes educational requirements for real estate agents and brokers, including pre-registration, post-registration, and continuing education programs, to equip them with the knowledge necessary to remain compliant and effectively serve consumers.
RECO also works to educate consumers about their rights and responsibilities, including publishing the RECO Information Guide, which agents and brokers are required to share with every prospective client or self-represented party.
