These are step-by-step instructions of how to complete annual financial filing using the new annual financial filing portal available on MyWeb beginning on October 1, 2026.

Please note

  • You do not need to complete the whole filing in one sitting.
  • Your progress will be automatically saved as you enter information.
  • If you need to step away, you can resume your filing at any time by logging into your MyWeb account and entering the filing portal through the banner on the MyWeb homepage.
  • Throughout the filing form, the guidance panel on the right of the screen will provide you with additional information about how to answer each question in the form.
  • If you try to move on and are missing an entry, the panels on the right will indicate exactly which fields you need to go back and fill out.
  • All form fields marked with a star are mandatory.
  • You can go back and edit a previous page at any time before you submit your filing, either by selecting the previous button or navigating through the menu on the left.

    • Unclaimed trust details
    • Trade information
    • Bank account details

  4. In the Annual Financial Filing dashboard, under the current filing section, your brokerage details will appear. Select the box to begin filing.
  5. Fill out the five sections in the online financial filing form, clicking “Next” after completing each section:
    • Brokerage information
      • Begin by verifying that the pre-populated information about your brokerage and the fiscal year are correct.
      • In the non-trading verification section, answer yes or no depending on whether your brokerage had any trading activity in the fiscal year of the filing.
      • If your brokerage did have trading activity in the fiscal year of the filing, answer yes and you will be prompted to complete the detailed Financial Filing form.
    • Brokerage report accounts
      • Enter all accounts opened, closed, or maintained by the brokerage during the fiscal year. This includes real estate trust accounts, Commission trust accounts, general accounts, or any other accounts applicable.
      • To add additional accounts, select the Add Savings Institution Information button.
      • To remove an Unused Accounts section, select Remove, verify that all the information is correct and that you have the correct number of accounts entered, and then select Next
    • Brokerage report financials
      • Enter information from your balance sheet, income statement, unclaimed trust monies, and trade information.
    • Brokerage compliance
      • Respond to questions designed to determine if your brokerage is complying with the legislation.
      • If you select NO for any of these questions, an exceptions text box will appear. You must provide a clear and detailed explanation of why you selected NO.
    • Review and submit
      • Follow prompts to confirm that all the information entered for this filing is complete, accurate, and supported by the brokerage’s financial records, trust records, and supporting documentation.
      • As the Broker of Record, you will enter your legal first and last name and add a signature using your mouse or trackpad or select the Type button. To adopt A typed signature, select the Adopt Signature button.
      • As the Broker of Record, you will attest that this filing is true and complete to the best of your knowledge and select the Submit and Send button.
      • After you click submit and send, RECO will receive a notification that your brokerage’s annual filing is complete. You will also receive an e-mail confirmation and can access a PDF copy of your filing details in the Documents section in my web.
  6. Log out from both the annual financial filing portal and MyWeb. Logging out of the portal does not automatically log you out of MyWeb.
