RECO takes additional regulatory action against HomeLife Today Realty Ltd.

December 23, 2025 – Today, RECO issued an order to immediately suspend the registrations of the HomeLife Today Realty Ltd. brokerage, brokerage owner, and the current broker of record, and issued a proposal to revoke the registrations of the brokerage, brokerage owner, as well as the former and current brokers of record.

About the immediate suspension order

The immediate suspension order was issued because, in the opinion of the Registrar, there was an immediate risk of public harm if the parties continued to trade in real estate. The brokerage, brokerage owner, and the current broker of record are now suspended and are no longer permitted to conduct any trade related activity.

RECO is closely monitoring all pending transactions as their completion dates come due.

All other real estate agents registered with the brokerage must transfer their registration to another brokerage in order to resume trading.

About the proposal to revoke registrations

The proposal to revoke the registrations was issued because, in the opinion of the Registrar, the brokerage, brokerage owner, and both brokers of record are no longer entitled to be registered and trade in real estate. This is because it was the Registrar’s determination that they have engaged in conduct that was a breach of the Trust in Real Estate Services Act, 2002 (TRESA) relating to the operation of the brokerage and the handling of trust monies, and because they cannot be reasonably expected to be financially responsible in the conduct of business and the operation of a brokerage.
