| Aug 16, 2010 NOTICE OF SUSPENSION The majority of RECO's registrants have made the required insurance renewal payment by the Aug. 13, 2010 deadline. The Registrar has now initiated the suspension process for registrants who have failed to make their required insurance payment. These registrants will be receiving a notice of suspension by registered mail which will become effective September 1, 2010. Suspended registrants are not entitled to trade in real estate and their names will be made available to the public on RECO's website. |

| Jun 28, 2010 HST Reminder As announced in the 2009 Ontario budget, the Provincial Sales Tax (PST) will be replaced with a tax that will be combined with the federal Goods and Services Tax (GST) to create a Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) for Ontario, effective July 1, 2010. The provincial portion of the HST will be eight per cent and the federal portion will be five per cent, for a combined HST rate of 13 per cent.
