Your vote is important. RECO’s Board of Directors oversees RECO, which is the regulator of your profession. RECO has the mandate to administer the law in the public interest to ensure the protection of consumers engaged in real estate in Ontario.

Why did you decide to stand for election as a Director of RECO?
Standing for election as a Director of RECO is an opportunity for me to serve public and make a significant impact. I have a strong passion for real estate and have been closely following the developments in the industry. I believe my skills, experience and dedication makes me a strong candidate for the position. I am sure that my involvement will help RECO will achieve its goals .I am eager to bring my unique perspective and contribute to the strategic direction of the organization. I am excited about the possibility of being a part of this dynamic organization.
What attributes would you bring to RECO’s Board of Directors that would support its consumer protection mandate?
As a candidate for the board of directors at RECO, I bring a commitment to protecting consumers and promoting ethical practices in the real estate industry. My experience in both the industry and in positions of leadership has given me a strong understanding of the issues that impact consumers and the steps that need to be taken to address them. I also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills , which I believe will be valuable in working with RECO’S members and the public. In addition to this I have a proven track record of problem solving and strategic thinking , which I believe will be crucial in RECO’S mandate of consumer protection.
Describe your experience(s) on a Board of Directors and/or committees of a public or private organization, trade association or not-for-profit organization.
I have extensive experience serving on a board of directors in various capacities. I had been serving as a Joint Secretary with Sports and Surgical Complex Association , Punjab, India for more than a decade. The association was responsible for implementing government policies and processes for smooth functioning of industrial practices. Prior to that I have also served as Director for J.B group of Industries (private organization).
What business leadership skills/experience would you bring to RECO’s Board of Directors?
Being a business man from last two decades ,I am confident in bringing good business acumen, alongwith strategic planning , sustainability and business profitability.

Why did you decide to stand for election as a Director of RECO?
I decided to stand for election as a Director of RECO because I believe RECO plays an important role in consumer protection, and I want to use my expertise to ensure that RECO continues to ensure fairness and oversight of real estate professionals in Ontario. I am passionate about consumer rights, and I want to use my leadership skills to help ensure RECO is able to effectively carry out its mandate.
What attributes would you bring to RECO’s Board of Directors that would support its consumer protection mandate?
1. A financial background and understanding of economic principles, which I could use to effectively review and assess policy decisions with regards to consumer protection regulations. 2. A commitment to upholding RECO’s level of ethical standards, and understanding of legal and compliance regulations that are associated with consumer protection. 3. An understanding of the needs of RECO’s consumers, enabling me to place their needs at the forefront of all RECO decisions. 4. Strong communication and public relations skills, with the ability to effectively build relationships with external stakeholders. 5. A demonstrated record of leadership and problem-solving skills, which I could use to help RECO navigate changing market conditions.
Describe your experience(s) on a Board of Directors and/or committees of a public or private organization, trade association or not-for-profit organization.
I have served on boards for nonprofit organizations as well as private organizations for several years. I enjoy offering advice and suggestions on how to best carry out the organization’s mission and objectives. I currently sit on the Board of Directors for a non-profit – Youth Soccer Club and have helped develop policies and procedures that guide the organization’s annual operations. Serving on boards also allows me to interact with various stakeholders from the community and to get insight into any developing issues or emerging opportunities. Overall, in my opinion serving on a board is a rewarding experience and I hope to make impacting contributions to RECO if elected.
What business skills/experience would you bring to RECO’s Board of Directors?
I am an experienced professional with a strong educational background in Business and Management, and a decade of experience in real estate development and trading. I have a deep understanding of the financial, legal and administrative aspects of the real estate businesses. I have a strong track record of increasing productivity and profitability in the businesses I engage with. I understand that the board of any organization has an important role to play in driving positive change. I am passionate about the quality of the services being provided by RECO and am committed to helping the organization reach its objectives and fulfil its stated mission. With my proven experience in strategic leadership, I am confident that I will be a valued addition to the RECO Board of Directors.
