Postcards replace traditional registration renewal packages
As part of RECO’s ongoing electronic service delivery, registration renewal packages will no longer be mailed to registrants. On June 6, 2011, the traditional package will be replaced with a postcard reminder sent out 60-days prior to registration expiry dates. This will be mailed in an envelope to ensure privacy of information.
The postcards will remind registrants to renew their registration through RECO’s exclusive online portal, MyWeb. Renewing registration is the responsibility of the individual and RECO’s reminders are sent as a courtesy. For those registrants who don’t already have a MyWeb account, creating one is simple and free by visiting https://myweb.reco.on.ca.
Brokers of record and branch managers are reminded to sign up for MyWeb, as their participation is essential for employees to take advantage of online services.
Applications are still available for print and in a fillable PDF format on RECO’s website or MyWeb. Brokerages and corporations will continue to receive traditional renewal packages as only individuals and sole proprietors can renew registration through MyWeb.
