RECO’s education programs ensure that Ontario’s real estate professionals have the skills and knowledge they need to provide competent service to home buyers and sellers.
All registrants must follow a learning path in order to maintain their registration and trade real estate in Ontario.
To become a registered real estate salesperson in Ontario, you must complete registration education courses administered on behalf of RECO by the Ontario Real Estate Association Real Estate College.
Once you have registered with RECO, you must complete your articling education requirements within two years to become a permanent salesperson.
After the articling period, you must complete continuing education every two years.
To become a registered real estate broker in Ontario, you must complete registration education courses administered on behalf of RECO by the Ontario Real Estate Association Real Estate College.
