On September 14, 2009, Mr. Hamid Azizi pled guilty to one Count of failing to ensure the brokerage Homelife Arianna Realty Inc. complied with the Act, by not depositing trust money into trust, and to one Count of failing to ensure the brokerage complied with the Act, by making an improper disbursement of trust money, and to one Count of furnishing false information to the Registrar by representing the trust liability of brokerage to be less than it was. On the first two Counts, Mr. Azizi received a suspended sentence, was ordered to pay restitution of $18,478.75 and was placed on probation for two years. On the third count, Mr. Azizi was given a $2,000.00 fine.
